Estimate your rewards
Any active sequencer, before its provider’s take rate: about 30.44% a year
What the rollup pays per proven checkpoint, times the checkpoints that land, spread over every active sequencer's stake. Before the provider's take rate.
Your estimate
About 22.83% a year. After Nethermind’s 25.0% take rate. Enter an amount to see what it earns.
At this rate the pool that pays these rewards runs out in about 3.8 months (around Mar 2027). Figures for longer than that count on it being refilled in time, and come out lower if it isn’t.
An estimate, not a promise. It assumes the network keeps paying what it pays now and that the sequencer performs like an average one. Real rewards move with luck, uptime, fees and network changes. Not financial advice.
How this is worked out
Each proven checkpoint pays its proposer 450 AZTEC (90% of 500 AZTEC). 31.2 of every 32 slots get one, shared by 3,157 active sequencers, so one sequencer’s 200K AZTEC earns about 4.45 AZTEC an epoch.
- Reward per checkpoint
- 500 AZTEC
- 90% (450 AZTEC) to the proposer, the rest to provers
- Slots with a checkpoint
- 97.5%
- Of 1,536 slots in the last 48 completed epochs
- Active sequencers
- 3,157
- Stake per sequencer
- 200K AZTEC
- Reward pool left
- 68.6M AZTEC
- About 3.8 months at this pace
Assumptions
- Checkpoints keep landing at the pace of the last 48 completed epochs (97.5% of slots). A sequencer that misses its slots earns less.
- Every active sequencer is equally likely to be picked to propose, so this is the long-run average; one sequencer proposes only every few days, so a single week can be far above or below it.
- Only checkpoints proven on Ethereum are paid. Attesting earns nothing, and transaction fees, which also go to the proposer, are left out.
- The reward pool holds 68.6M AZTEC, enough for about 3.8 months at this pace. After that, rewards depend on it being topped up.
- Staking goes through a staking provider, 200K AZTEC per sequencer; the provider keeps its take rate and governance can change the reward settings.
