# Aztec decentralisation report, November 2026

As of November 5, it took 3 providers to run more than a third of Aztec's active sequencers (a Nakamoto coefficient of 3), unchanged from the end of October 2026. The three largest providers ran 37.3% of active sequencers, up 0.1 points from the end of October 2026. 52 providers ran active sequencers; 19.5% of active sequencers were not linked to any provider (self-staked, or not yet matched), and the provider figures cannot count them. 3,158 sequencers were active, 7 fewer than at the end of October 2026. By stake alone it took 1,051 sequencers to pass a third, and the stake was as spread out as 3,158 equal stakes (an HHI of 3.2); because nearly every sequencer stakes the same amount, that mostly restates the size of the active set. The month is still in progress: the figures are to November 5 and change daily until the report closes on December 1.
