Kava rewards calculator
Estimate what staking with a validator earns, after its commission.
Typical fee 0.0175 KAVA
Estimate your rewards
Any active validator, before its commission: about 7.88% a year
Kava has no inflation: its community pool pays stakers a fixed amount per second, shared by all staked KAVA. This is that amount over a year as a share of the stake, before the validator's commission.
Your estimate
About 7.09% a year. That is 7.88% a year less this validator’s 10.0% commission, which it sets on-chain and takes from rewards before paying its delegators. Enter an amount to see what it earns.
At this rate the pool that pays these rewards runs out in less than a year: the figures count on it being topped up in time, and come out lower if it isn’t.
Paid from Kava’s community pool, which lasts about 9.4 months at this rate (to around Aug 2027); after that stakers earn only transaction fees, unless it is topped up.
An estimate, not a promise. It assumes the network keeps paying what it pays now and that the validator performs like an average one. Real rewards move with luck, uptime, fees and network changes. Not financial advice.
How this is worked out
Kava’s community pool pays stakers 0.317097 KAVA a second (10M KAVA over a 365-day year), shared by the 127.03M KAVA staked, so every active validator’s stake earns 7.88% a year before its commission (Kava reports 7.87%, counting 365 days a year).

Assumptions
- The pool pays a fixed amount a second, not a share of the supply, so the rate falls as more KAVA is staked and rises as stake leaves.
- The pool funds these rewards only while it lasts: at this rate it runs out in about 9.4 months (to around Aug 2027), unless it is topped up or the rate changes. After that stakers earn only transaction fees.
- Governance can change the amount paid a second at any time.
- Transaction fees are shared out the same way but left out here.
- Rewards are not counted as restaked. They wait until claimed; claiming and restaking them every day turns 7.88% a year into about 8.20%.
- Kava’s own figure counts a 365-day year; these estimates count 365.25 days, so the same reward a second shows a little more a year.
