Band rewards calculator
Estimate what staking with a validator earns, after its commission.
Typical fee 0.0019 BAND
Estimate your rewards
Any oracle-active validator, before its commission: about 22.80% a year
What Band's inflation pays over a year, as a share of the stake, before the validator's commission. Blocks come slower than the 1 second Band's mint settings assume, so BitBasic counts what is really minted. 70% of the rewards go only to validators whose oracle is active, so staking with one of them pays over three times as much as with the rest.
Your estimate
This validator is Queued (outside the active set: not enough stake to be among the validators that sign blocks, so it earns nothing. It joins by itself once its stake ranks high enough). It isn’t earning rewards now, so BitBasic shows no estimate for it.
An estimate, not a promise. It assumes the network keeps paying what it pays now and that the validator performs like an average one. Real rewards move with luck, uptime, fees and network changes. Not financial advice.
How this is worked out
At its measured 1.162 s blocks (its settings assume 1 s) Band mints 20.44M BAND a year; after the 2% community tax, 70% of it goes only to oracle-active validators, 94.56% of the 91.14M BAND staked, and the rest, less 1% for TSS signers, to every bonded validator, so stake with an oracle-active validator earns 22.80% a year before its commission and with any other 6.53%.

Assumptions
- Each validator’s rate follows its oracle status at this reading. An oracle can be deactivated at any time, for example after a missed oracle report, and its validator then earns 6.53% a year instead of 22.80% until its operator reactivates it.
- Blocks took 1.162 s on average over the last 100,000 blocks. Band’s mint settings assume 1 s, but it mints per block, so slower blocks mint less, and the rate moves with the block time.
- Inflation adjusts every block, between 7% and 20% a year, aiming for 67% of all BAND staked, so the rate drifts over time.
- Transaction fees are shared out the same way but left out here; they add little next to inflation.
- Rewards are not counted as restaked. They wait until claimed; claiming and restaking them every day turns 22.80% a year into about 25.60%.
